Instructions for Reserving Time in the Classroom Labs 200B & 200C:

Please be sure to indicate which classroom you are reserving via the category menu!

Failure to include a name and email address in the full description field will mean your event won't be scheduled if there is a problem.

You will not receive an automated email on submitting an event. Please check back later to confirm your submission was approved. Submissions will be checked on a once a day basis.

Having open hours available is very important. Please take care when scheduling events and pay attention to times when a class or other event is scheduled simultaneously with open hours. If you schedule an event in the other room from the class or previous event, you will need to keep open hours in mind and note that quiet use of the computers by others is acceptable or find another time that will not impinge on open hours.

Specify COURSE RELATED in the Purpose menu for all PSYCHOLOGY COURSE RELATED ACTIVITIES, including review sessions and TA office hours. Provide the course number in the brief description, and provide details such as prof name, your name and email in the full description. In the Description you should indicate how many people will be present, which room, what part of the room and what equipment you will be using, and state whether or not quiet use of the computers is o.k. during this event.

Use DEPARTMENTAL for DEPARTMENTAL ACTIVITIES such as Majors Meetings, T.A. Orientation, Cognitive Lunch, Curriculum Committee Meetings, Ph.D. Orals, M.A. talk practice sessions. In the full description field, provide name of faculty sponsor as well as person responsible for equipment setup. Also indicate how many people will be present, which room, what part of the room and what equipment you will be using, and state whether or not quiet use of the computers is o.k.

Use RESEARCH RELATED for RESEARCH RELATED ACTIVITIES such as lab meetings or subject running. In the full description field, provide name of faculty sponsor as well as person responsible for equipment setup. Indicate how many people will be present, which room, what part of the room and what equipment you will be using, and state whether or not quiet use of the computers by others is o.k. NOTE: Research reservations may require additional information before they are approved, and once on the schedule it is possible that they will be over-ridden by higher-priority instructional or departmental activities.

You can select 'Timed Event' in the menu that reads 'Untimed Event' by default. This will allow you to indicate and start and a stop time for your event.

DO NOT set Send Reminder to 'Yes'. The reminder system is not active.
